The Dakota range of furniture is a contemporary yet rustic range of hand crafted Indian furniture in solid Mango
wood with a dark stain and lacquer finish. At our cheap prices in comparison to others the Dakota is probably our
hotest range on web site. Stylish and rustically finished we have retailed this for a number of years and import it
ourselves.
The Michigan Range
A contemporary yet rustic Michigan furniture range of hand crafted Indian Dakota furniture in solid Mango wood with a dark stain and lacquer finish.
The entire Michigan range is handmade by skilled Indian cabinet makers and shows the Natural beauty of this most exquisite timber. Supremely simple in design, and delicately coloured to provide a dark finish that compliments this authentic Indian wood to perfection. The glorious finish is completed with a carefully applied hand finished coating to offer protection from the rigours of everyday use. The beauty, rawness and character of the mango wood will guarantee this unique piece to be the envy of the street!! This item has a rustic finish.
Our Contemporary Michigan Indian furniture has many items to choose from including TV units, coffee tables, bookcases, sideboards, cabinets & occasional furniture. All of the mango wood used in our furniture is from sustainable forests.
Corona Furniture
A Mexican style range of solid pine bedroom furniture with black metal fixtures and fittings.This is our new Corona which is of even better quality and finish than the original with a stable and consistent colour throughout the range and even more products to choose from. It does not have a slightly distressed surface.
Generously sized ethnic style bedroom furniture in a Mexican design. Built from solid pine it has an antique coloured wax finish.
This range is normally available ex-stock for immediate dispatch. Delivery is often within 2 to 3 days.
The Contemporary Oak Range
This excellently crafted range of Contemporary oak furniture is also known as the Milano and is one of our best sellers. There are a huge range of items within the Milano collection suitable to furnish the most stylish bedrooms, children's bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, office and kitchens.
The contemporary design of the Milano oak furniture is almost timeless by design and construction and will last for many, many years to come. Manufactured from American white oak it combines strength and durability. The range of Milano items are available in both dining/occasional and bedroom products, each designed to offer both style an functionality.
The Milano bedroom range has single, double and king size beds and here at Mercers we are able to offer a considerable range of mattresses to complement them. There are three wardrobe sizes and the chests of drawers come in many different sizes and drawer options to suit most bedrooms.
The Milano dining room furniture has a large choice of items. At Mercers we have put together some first class deals on various table and chair options. The thick top table and full leather or oak chairs set is a particular fine choice as is the new extending, twin leaf set, both of which will certainly impress your guests . There are three sizes of oak dining tables and another two chair options. There are different sized dressers and sideboards, bookcases and display cabinets to complete the dining room, the display cabinet being illuminated from the top and incorporating glass shelving to allow the illumination throughout. If you are looking for a leather bed we have a great selection in many different styles. These include traditional to the latest in contemporary design. We have leather beds in double, king size and super king size. We are able to offer an extensive range of colour options many of which are held in stock and are available for immediate despatch. We offer low foot end leather beds which help to enhance the feeling of space, to higher backed sleigh beds we have something for everyone..
The Leather in Leather Beds

Aniline leather is one of the most attractive types of leather due to its softness and natural look. The most commonly used leather on beds is a bi-cast leather which has a thin coating on the top. This is used extensively on beds due to the fact that it requires very little maintenance and is not prone to marking. Occasionally corrected grain leather is used this type of leather is buffed to reduce heavy natural scarring and blemishes in the hides. It is then coloured with a coating containing opaque pigments and embossed with a grain pattern to ensure a uniformity of colour and resistance to fading. Leather beds can be very versatile helping to create a contemporary design statement or alternatively they can used to create a design scheme that will stand the test of time. Virtually all the leather beds that we supply at Mercersfurniture.co.uk are complete with a sprung slatted base which will help to enhance the life of the mattress.
